Overview
A complete electrician job built for the QBCore framework (qb-core). Power outages spawn dynamically around your map — each on-duty electrician gets their own personal outage, never shared with another player, so nobody fights over the same job. Repair a fuse panel through a custom-built holographic NUI minigame: connect colored wires to their matching terminal across multiple rounds, with a real electrocution-risk penalty (camera shake + ragdoll) on mistakes. The affected area visibly darkens until power is restored (a real in-world lighting effect, not just a UI indicator). Clock in and the game automatically dresses your character in a hi-vis uniform (fully configurable), restored the moment you clock out, die, or disconnect. Pay is added straight to the electrician's bank account on a successful repair. Fully configurable: outage locations, payout range, minigame difficulty, uniform components, timing, and more — all in a single config.lua file. Clean, commented Lua and NUI code (HTML/CSS/JS), built to be easy to read and extend. Requires QBCore. Does not work with ESX or other frameworks.
Features
- Built for QBCore (qb-core) - uses standard QBCore player/job functions
- Personal per-player outages - never shared between electricians
- Custom holographic wire-connecting minigame (not a generic skill check)
- Real in-world darkness effect at active outage locations
- Automatic uniform on clock-in, restored on clock-out/death/disconnect
- Job and duty state saved to the database immediately
- Fully configurable outage locations, payout, difficulty and timing
- Admin utility commands included for quick testing
- Clean, commented code (Lua + HTML/CSS/JS)
Compatibility & Requirements
Built and tested for QBCore (qb-core) only — will not work with ESX, vRP, or standalone setups without modification. Uses ox_target for interactions and ox_lib (ox_target's own dependency) — not compatible out of the box with qb-target or other targeting systems without a small edit to client/main.lua. Default outage coordinates are generic examples for the base GTA V map; you are expected to update Config.Zones for your own map. The default uniform (Config.Uniform) is a generic hi-vis vest — appearance may need adjusting per custom ped model, the script logs a warning with the valid range if it doesn't fit.
